Gillian Harris

Gill is a Certified Career Development Practitioner who has been advising clients of all ages for 20 years. A graduate of the Career Education Graduate Certificate programme from RMIT Victoria, Australia, Gill takes a holistic approach to her practice, taking into consideration her client’s overall lifestyle, commitments and aspirations. 

Providing a practical approach to career search strategies, Gill empowers her clients to confidently make well informed choices based on sound research. In keeping with the latest job search strategies and application procedures, Gill guides the development of client’s employment application packages towards consistently successful outcomes.

As a careers advisor in a large independent secondary school, Gill established a thriving Career Centre, before moving to management of Trade Training Centres and then to tertiary level work. She has worked with senior secondary and tertiary students at all academic levels, along with clients returning to work following lengthy absences and employed clients looking at career change.  Gill has also worked extensively with university graduates including international students. 

With a commitment to career counselling and development while keeping up to date with current trends,
Gill is involved in continuous learning and is associated with a broad range of Australian
and international career development organisations, combined with a worldwide network
of career professionals who share best practice. Gill is also a dedicated mentor to professionals studying Australian career development qualifications.
